If you have not seen Leelee Sobieski in a movie lately then you are probably not getting to the cinema often enough. In 2008 alone she stared in 4 movies including Walk all over me and Night Train. These were not some of her best work so far but still her acting is something to be admired. Leelee is a beautiful woman with all the right curves in the right places and both men and women like to see her in movies or on TV because they can relate to this young and gorgeous actress.

Leelee had a small role in the block buster Public Enemies where she plays a demanding role of someone that is not quite her usual cast. In the Movie Coven Leelee had us all wondering whether she was the good girl or the bad girl but whichever way it ends (I won’t spoil the surprise) you will be glued to your seats the whole time which was also the same in the Wicker man where she truly is evil. Around 2001 she stared in the Glass House which was one of her first big roles in the movies where as before that she had mainly stared in sitcoms.

Leelee has the god given gift to make us laugh, cry, sing or go crazy with her believable and modest acting skills. We can’t wait to see what lies in store for her next part within Hollywood which will no doubt be an absolute thriller. Just because Leelee has such a big fan base she should be very proud of the good work she has done so far and hopefully enjoys what she is doing in the future.

The actress likes watching sexy entertainment, but she doesn’t really like and feel comfortable acting in it. Since she got married and became a mom, parts that require love scenes are less interesting and difficult.

She also said in an interview that it was fun while she was young. She also says: When you are happily married, it’s strange to let those energies in, even if it means nothing. I could happily never subject my husband to the same thing.

Luckily for her, that isn’t a big part of NYC 22, which revolves around six NYPD rookies learning how to patrol the streets of upper Manhattan. The ensemble drama is executive produced by Robert de Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Richard Price, Ken Sanzel, and James Mangold.

While she struggles with parts of the business that require more intimacy, she says it’s worth it, for some projects. She may not like kissing folks on camera, but she’ll watch others do it.

She cites the Broadway show Venus in Fur, which stars Nina Ariadna as a sexy young actress trying to win a part in a play, as an example of a piece of art is sexy, yet not overboard. Sobieski calls herself an old-fashioned girl, and says that NYC 22 is an old fashioned cop drama. Nowadays, she tends to her family and her recently born child.

She received praises for her role and thanks to it many doors opened for her, helping Sobieski achieve more and more important roles. In the video bellow you can see one of the most beautiful love stories from the movie, between her character and the character of Elijah Wood.

Sobieski was lucky in love even in real life and not just in movies. In the first month of 2009 she met designer Adam Kimmel and the two started dating. Just 6 months later, on July 17, 2009, the couple announced their engagement and other 5 months later, the actress gave birth to their first child together. Her husband is a menswear designer and the actress is madly in love with him. She stated clearly that she considers a short engagement is the best, no more than three months. Still, she had a longer engagement because of her pregnancy and because she and Kimmel had to adapt to life with a baby before being able to plan a wedding.

She is now very happy that she’s married and she also declared that her body is just for her husband. Even if she changed once with the pregnancy and she loves her more curvaceous looks, she  thinks that all she has is just for her husband to see. She is absolutely crazy about her daughter and she is an old school mother and wife. And even if she wants more children, the actress mentioned recently that they (she and her husband) won’t have them anytime soon, as she is now fully dedicated to raise Luisanna.

Leelee Sobieski and Adam Kimmel usually avoid very public outings and participate rarely to events, keeping their marriage private and far from the eyes of the curious, but you can see a few pictures of the couple and some of both husbands with their baby bellow.
